For the past thirty years, we’ve been bringing together creative communities to make brand new plays and musicals in just 24 hours. This year, nonprofits nationwide face a sharp decline in foundation and corporate giving, and like most theaters, The 24 Hour Plays received a significant cut from the New York State Council on the Arts for 2026.
